Sanya Kantarovsky was commissioned to create a banner for the façade of The Metropolitan Opera House, in conjunction with François Girard’s new production of Richard Wagner’s Lohengrin. The project is part of the Gallery Met initiative, led by founding director and curator Dodie Kazanjian.The original painting is installed in the jewelry vitrine on the Parterre level inside the Opera House.
