Lygia Clark is featured in Women in Abstraction, currently on view at the Guggenheim Bilbao through February 27, 2022.

Women in Abstraction, an exhibition originating at the Centre Pompidou, sets out to write the history of contributions made by “female artists” to abstraction in the 20th century. The artists are presented here as players and co-creators of modernism and its legacy with special attention accorded to highlighting the specific contexts surrounding, favoring or, on the contrary, hindering recognition of female artists.
