Charles Atlas will be featured in Merce Cunningham: Common Time, a major interdisciplinary survey of Merce Cunningham's dynamic artistic collaborations, organized by the Walker Art Center and copresented with the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago. In addition to his nine-channel video installation MC9, featuring 35 years of clips from Cunningham pieces in a dazzling audio-visual realization, Atlas will present Tesseract, a new stereoscopic 3D film co-commissioned by the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis; Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago; Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (EMPAC), Troy; and On the Boards, Seattle with live dance performance choreographed by Rashaun Mitchell and Silas Riener.
